Comptoir Libanais - Very nice experience at the restaurant, aesthetics, the overall aura of the restaurant along with the food quality is just amazing. Manas one of the staff members is very kind and polite, the order was taken and served on time with the best quality and taste.

Done in on a Saturday evening and it was one of the worst experiences.
Very bad service, not friendly staff and they didn't really care about the service or our table.
And the food is not worth the money, I have been to comptior in London and it was better food.

I had a really good meal with my group, we ordered a family order and had almost too much to eat, the atmosphere was very good, enjoyable. Mahek served us and was very kind, patient and smiling.

Great service from the staff first thing in the morning, very friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious, fresh and served fast. Especially the servers Rajul and Mahek. Would recommend coming here and will be back again.

Extremely poor. We ordered the 'large' mixed grill. This cost £26.00 and comprised of 4 small chicken cubes, 4 chicken wings and a small lamb kofta. We would have been okay to overlook the unfair prices and portion size had the quality of the food been any good. Unfortunately, all of the meat was bland and very dry, like it had just been quickly reheated and served. Terrible and quite frankly, unacceptable.

We ordered delivery from Comptoir Libanais, Oxford at 19.15pm on a Sunday evening after noting the 20-35 mins delivery time.
We heard nothing after one hour, so I checked the order status on the website, which said 21:20 - 21:40 delivery, which was over 2 hours after we placed the original order.
We were hungry so we decided to hang on - then after leaving us waiting for 1.5 hours they cancelled the order.
No courtesy call, no apology, nothing.
Appalling customer service - we will not be ordering from Comptoir Libanais ever again. Either delivery or eating in their Westgate restaurant. Another very badly managed UK-based franchise. Forget about it!

I keep trying to give the place another chance, the decor is all it’s good for. The food is very poor and certainly would not pass as Lebanese. No middle easterner should be dining here! Importantly, I should have known that a Lebanese restaurant that doesn’t have Lebanese customers eating there- ever- is a terrible sign! I Ordered the kofta wrap, which wasn’t a wrap, (they call it open wrap- whoever came up with that genius idea- please send them to a real Lebanese restaurant for work experience) it’s not wrapped, it’s a flat bread in your plate, covered with loads of onions and a measly one skewer of mince lamb kebab on it! Portions are not generous at all- presentation was nice though. I did walk out feeling ripped off for the measly amount of food they give you. Has potential to be great- but the food is not on point at all in terms of taste.
Edit : i went in to try the shawarma plate…and what a shock ! I had no more than 7 bits of chicken mixed in a bowl of rice and some hard “salad” mixed into it. Complete rip off and when I complained to the waiter, he shrugged his shoulders and didn’t offer me anything to compensate for this horrendous excuse of a shawarma! Please please avoid this place unless you have not idea about food.
